Following the enigmatic demise of a coworker, the monotonous routine at DanRick Designs is unexpectedly invigorated when Miles Fuller and Dylan Kirkpatrick find themselves as the top contenders for a promotion. This career advancement comes at a perfect time for these junior employees. Miles is in need of funds to support the Tech Center where he volunteers to teach urban youth, while Dylan is eager to buy the house his late father built, hoping to prevent his mother from being persuaded by his unscrupulous stepfather to sell it.
