This is a heartfelt tale of a young adolescent eager to mature quickly and explore uncharted islands. After receiving another poor grade and feeling resentful towards his father for damaging a beautifully handcrafted sailboat, he decides to leave home, venturing aimlessly in hopes of stumbling upon an undiscovered island. His sudden disappearance causes a stir, mobilizing the police, school officials, family, and friends in a frantic search.
