“Adult Camp” is a comedy that explores the unpredictable journey of self-discovery. A diverse group of men and women, all strangers, decide to break from the norm and spend a week of their summer in the picturesque Turku archipelago, attending a revamped version of an adult camp. However, they soon realize that the galloping horses featured in the camp’s promotional video are merely metaphors for a liberated spirit, and the camp’s guru unexpectedly leaves to attend to his dog giving birth. This unexpected turn of events compels the participants to reflect on themselves and each other, seeking the essential components for personal growth. While the camp may not deliver on its promise of being “the most wonderful week of your life,” it undeniably ensures that everyone leaves transformed.
