During a chaotic weekend in Las Vegas, a group of four young friends finds themselves in hot water with a loan shark, forcing them to flee the city quickly. However, their gambling woes soon become the least of their concerns when they become stranded in the Nevada desert. One of the friends stumbles upon a strange metal piece and subsequently vanishes overnight. When the other three locate their missing companion, they notice a change in him. As his situation deteriorates, they begin to suspect that a supernatural presence might be pursuing them in the desert.
