Twisted

This modern adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist features a cast of drug dealers, pimps, and sex workers, yet it retains the timeless themes of the original novel. The story follows 10-year-old Lee, who is trapped under the control of a sleazy brothel owner. Lee forms a bond with Angel, an aspiring musician, who aids him in breaking free from his oppressive situation. To protect Lee, Angel enlists the help of a nurturing drag queen to defeat the boy’s adversaries.
