Toro

Toro, a young swindler, serves as the right-hand man to Romano, a formidable crime lord in Torremolinos, Málaga, located in southern Spain. Seeking a life away from crime, Toro attempts to leave Romano’s operation, but his final con goes awry, resulting in the death of one of his brothers and his own imprisonment. Five years later, Romano discovers that López, Toro’s older brother, has been embezzling money from his tourism business. In retaliation, Romano orders the kidnapping of López’s young daughter, Diana, until the stolen money is returned. Desperate, López turns to Toro, who is now working as a tour guide and nearing parole, eager to marry his girlfriend, Estrella. Toro agrees to assist López, and when they confront Romano to negotiate, Toro ends up attacking Romano’s men and escaping with Diana. As they flee from Romano’s vengeance, Toro anxiously counts down the hours until he must return to prison under his current parole conditions.
