Everything appears typical for Joseph and Joanne. Joanne is expecting their first baby, and their life in their small city home feels comfortable and routine. However, there’s something unusual about Joseph. He doesn’t appear thrilled about the upcoming baby, and his work on a documentary is becoming more erratic. As Joseph tries to keep up with his household responsibilities, his facade starts to crumble. At night, instead of working as Joanne believes, Joseph roams the streets of Los Angeles, intentionally seeking out risky situations. Joanne is becoming concerned about Joseph’s strange actions, but not as concerned as she ought to be.
