For more than two decades, Mrs. Aylwood has been a grieving mother ever since her daughter, Karen, disappeared in the English countryside. When the Carstairs family takes up residence in the Aylwood estate for the summer, they start experiencing unsettling events. Jan, a member of the Carstairs family, begins to believe these incidents are connected to Karen’s mysterious disappearance. As she investigates the town’s concealed secrets, Jan finds herself drawn deeper into the enigma and peril, but escaping the Watcher in the Woods may already be beyond reach.
