Jake Sawyer, an American tattoo artist, travels the globe, drawing inspiration from various cultural motifs for his tattoo creations. During a tattoo convention in Singapore, he encounters the intriguing realm of traditional Samoan tattooing, known as tatau. In a moment of carelessness, he accidentally releases a formidable and vengeful spirit.
