The Most Precious of Cargoes

In a vast forest, a destitute woodcutter and his wife struggled with the harsh realities of cold, hunger, poverty, and a surrounding war. One fateful day, the woodcutter’s wife discovers an infant girl, abandoned and thrown from one of the many trains that frequently traverse the forest.
