The Lion Standing in the Wind

Koichiro Shimada is dispatched by a Japanese teaching hospital to a research center in Kenya, Africa. Upon arrival, he finds himself in a dire situation and chooses to serve as a doctor, caring for those injured in conflicts. He faces challenges with the hospital’s nurses and staff. Koichiro then meets a young soldier who is deeply traumatized, an encounter that alters the course of his life.
