Veteran music producer Nick Silver embarks on a mission to demonstrate his continued significance in the industry by assembling a playlist featuring various artists, rather than focusing on a single artist’s album. Upon receiving the devastating news from his doctor that he will lose his hearing in three months, he becomes frantic and starts recording his life story on a video camera, using bathroom mirrors across Los Angeles as his backdrop.
