The Ignorance of Blood

Javier Falcón, the head of the Homicide Division in Sevilla, is tasked with resolving two separate cases in a limited timeframe. The first case is deeply personal for him. An old friend of his has gone undercover in an Islamic terrorist group, which is now attempting to recruit his young son. This situation becomes even more personal when a conflict erupts between two factions of the Russian Mafia. An influential mobster, attempting to switch sides, dies in a car accident. At the crash site, the police discover a USB drive containing highly sensitive information. Subsequently, the son of Falcón’s girlfriend, Consuelo, is abducted. Both Mafia factions reach out, claiming to have the boy and demanding the USB drive, threatening to kill him if Falcón does not comply.
