The Good Neighbor

David, once a journalist for the New York Times, finds himself in a terrifying situation when he and his peculiar new neighbor, Robert, accidentally collide with a girl on her bicycle. Under the influence and confused, David is persuaded by Robert to abandon the scene, leaving the girl to die, in an effort to safeguard his career. Robert, devoid of any guilt, commits unspeakable acts in the name of friendship to keep their secret hidden. As the police intensify their search for the hit-and-run culprit, chaos ensues when David’s local newspaper assigns him to report on the incident. During his investigation, he encounters Vanessa, the sister of the deceased girl. Despite the tragic circumstances and her determination to uncover her sister’s killer, David and Vanessa experience an unexpected romantic attraction. This development both surprises and troubles David, while driving Robert to take drastic measures to maintain his hold over David.
