The Golden Monk

The film narrates the journey of a monk who comes to understand that he is the reincarnated form of the Golden Child, also known as Taming Dragon Lohan. This celestial being was banished from heaven to endure the cycle of life and death a hundred times as punishment for violating a divine law by falling in love with another celestial being, Jade. Although the Golden Child’s memories were wiped clean, Jade chose to hold onto their love and amassed positive karma over the course of a hundred reincarnations.
