The Damned

In a harsh winter of the 19th century, a widow in a destitute Icelandic fishing village faces a daunting decision. A shipwreck occurs off the coast, and she must choose whether to attempt a rescue of the survivors, knowing that doing so could further strain the already scarce resources of the starving community.
