The Choking Game

Based on Diana Lopez’s novel “Choke,” the story follows Taryn, who experiences a surge in popularity when a captivating new student at school befriends her and introduces her to the concept of being a “breath sister.” This new friend teaches Taryn about the Choking Game. Keeping it a secret from her attentive mother, close friend, and teachers, Taryn views the game as a method to enhance her self-discipline and achieve a quick thrill. However, with each escalating “flight,” Taryn remains unaware of the severe risks she is taking with her life.
