The Brides of Sodom

In a dystopian future where vampires named after Greek deities and witches hold power, this film offers a fresh take on the classic vampire narrative. The story revolves around Eros, a male vampire who becomes enamored with a human named Samuel. Eros desires to “rescue” Samuel by transforming him into a vampire, but his malevolent vampire partner, Dionysus, has different plans. The situation is further complicated by Eros’ sister and lover, Persephone, a mysterious Bookkeeper, and three witches who possess knowledge of universal secrets and the Laws of Eternity. This intricate tale weaves themes of decadence, erotica, and intense horror, set against a backdrop of surreal, post-apocalyptic landscapes and opulent, dark Gothic settings.
