The Bones
The film traces the path of fossils from their unearthing in distant parts of the globe to their destinations in labs, museums, auction houses, and private collections. It interlaces the tales of quirky individuals who find themselves navigating the tension between commercial interests and the innate human desire to unravel life’s greatest mysteries. “THE BONES” transports viewers to the Gobi Desert, the Sahara, and the rugged terrains of North America, as well as into labs, museums, upscale auction venues, and the gritty hotel rooms of the Tucson gem show. Engaging with the elusive questions surrounding the origins of life on Earth and its possible future extinction, “THE BONES” delves into the fervent passions that drive the world of dinosaurs.
