Superman IV

In this 1987 film directed by Sidney J. Furie, Superman faces a new adversary created by his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor, who has devised a plan to rid the world of nuclear weapons. The movie stars Christopher Reeve, who reprises his iconic role as the Man of Steel, alongside Gene Hackman as the villainous Luthor. Despite its ambitious storyline, the film did not receive any major awards. Interestingly, it marked Christopher Reeve’s final appearance as Superman in the original series.
