Submission

Lúcia, a victim of sexual assault by her spouse, decides to take legal action against him. With the support of Maria João Correia, the Prosecutor’s Assistant, she challenges the Portuguese judicial system to bring her husband, who is the son of the State’s Vice Attorney, to trial. The proceedings occur behind closed doors, where Lúcia seeks justice in a male-dominated environment.
