Spiral

In a quaint Japanese town, Kirie discovers her boyfriend’s father quietly filming a snail. This man develops an increasingly strange fixation on spirals, culminating in his suicide inside a washing machine, which contorts his body into a spiral shape. Before long, other residents of the town also become consumed by various manifestations of spirals.
