Ty, a unique and somewhat naive designer sneaker, has never experienced life beyond the plush confines of his velvet-lined shoebox. When his sister is taken by a dubious collector, Ty is compelled to embark on a journey through New York City to save her. Along the way, he encounters a diverse and quirky group of shoe companions who assist him in discovering the bravery to leave his shoebox and reunite with his sole-mate.
