
Sky Fighters
“Sky Fighters” is a French film from 2005, directed by Gérard Pirès, that follows the story of two air force pilots working to thwart a terrorist plot targeting the Bastille Day festivities in Paris. The movie draws inspiration from the comic series “Tanguy et Laverdure,” created by Jean-Michel Charlier and Albert Uderzo, who is also known for “Astérix.” This comic series was adapted into a highly popular television show that aired from 1967 to 1969, cementing the characters Tanguy and Laverdure as iconic figures in Francophone culture.
