Throughout his adult years, Michael has been entrenched in the world of organized crime, serving under his friend and the gang’s leader, Ronnie. As Ronnie starts to suggest stepping down, Michael also starts to envision a different path for himself. This change is spurred by a newfound love, marking the first time Michael has looked beyond his daily existence to envision a future.
