The Take

In 1984, Freddie Jackson is freed after completing a four-year prison term for armed robbery. His wife, Jackie, has been patiently waiting for his release, mistakenly believing that he intends to lead an honest life. However, she is soon let down when she discovers that Freddie is eager to return to his criminal ways, with ambitions of becoming a leading figure in the East End’s criminal underworld.
