School of Rock

A collection of disciplined prep school students—Zack, Lawrence, Freddy, Summer, and Tomika—are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and achieve new levels of success by Dewey Finn, a substitute teacher and struggling musician. He employs the power of rock ‘n’ roll to motivate his students to create a clandestine band. Over the course of the academic year, these middle schoolers explore relationships, uncover hidden abilities, and gain insights into loyalty and friendship.
