Review

The series employs “mockumentary” techniques to portray the fictional, reality TV-style escapades of the eager professional critic Forrest MacNeil. He is the host of a television program called “Review,” where he immerses himself in any life experience his audience requests, to determine if it is worthwhile. Following each experience, Forrest provides a formal rating in the studio, using a one-to-five-star scale. However, his relentless curiosity and unwavering dedication to the show lead to unforeseen consequences that progressively ruin his life, as he is tasked with reviewing experiences such as ‘stealing,’ ‘drug addiction,’ ‘being a racist,’ ‘getting divorced,’ ‘seeking revenge,’ and ‘evading the law.’
