Queenie Jenkins, a 25-year-old woman of Jamaican and British descent residing in South London, finds herself caught between two cultures, not fully belonging to either. Following a turbulent split from her long-time partner, Queenie looks for solace in unwise choices and soon understands that she must confront her past directly to start anew.
