Murder Before Evensong

In 1980s England, Canon Daniel Clement, the Rector of Champton, becomes unexpectedly involved in a murder investigation when a corpse is discovered in the church. Daniel’s proposal to update the church creates a rift within the parish. Soon after, a body is found at the rear of the church. As the police begin their investigation and more bodies are discovered, Daniel is the sole person who can attempt to hold his divided community together while also trying to identify the murderer.
