Glen and his fiancée lead an ideal yet ordinary life. Despite Glen’s severe erectile dysfunction and Kirsty’s hidden shoplifting addiction, they are content. However, their tranquility is disrupted when Glen’s brother, Lee, barges into their lives, fleeing from a past that is rapidly closing in on him. This unexpected intrusion forces the three of them—a perfectionist, a dreamer, and a rebel—to coexist in a suburban Essex cul-de-sac.
