Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil
“Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil” is an animated TV series, recognized with an Emmy nomination, and created by animator Sandro Corsaro. The story follows a young boy named Clarence “Kick” Buttowski, who dreams of becoming the world’s top daredevil. It holds the distinction of being the fourth original series on Disney XD and the first to be animated. The show debuted on February 13, 2010, with two episodes airing on its premiere day, and later launched on Disney Channel Asia on May 28, 2010. Each episode consists of two segments, each lasting 11 minutes. The animation is crafted using Toon Boom Animation software and includes some 3D elements. The series is executive-produced and directed by Chris Savino and Sandro Corsaro, drawing inspiration from Corsaro’s own childhood experiences in Stoneham, Massachusetts.
