Lauren Caspian ranks as the third most popular host on public radio. Despite his good intentions, he is a somewhat hypocritical fool, much like the rest of us. Uniquely, he is a stop-motion puppet. Every episode showcases the production process of an installment of Lauren’s program, “In the Know,” where he engages in thorough interviews with actual human guests. Lauren works alongside a varied team of NPR staff members, who, like him, are also puppets and somewhat foolish.
