Esteemed Harvard academic Henry Louis Gates, Jr. has been assisting individuals in uncovering relatives who have been obscured for generations within their family histories. Professor Gates collaborates with a group of genealogists to piece together the historical records left by our predecessors, and he works with top geneticists to analyze our DNA, allowing us to journey back thousands of years to trace the roots of our earliest ancestors.
