Family Law

Set in Vancouver, Canada, “Family Law” centers on lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail ‘Abby’ Bianchi, portrayed by Jewel Staite, as she attempts to rebuild her career and family life after reaching her lowest point. As part of her probation, Abby is compelled to join her estranged father’s law firm, Svensson and Associates, where she must navigate the complexities of family law for the first time. Along the way, she forms new connections with her half-brother, played by Zach Smadu, and half-sister, portrayed by Genelle Williams, whom she has never met before. Together, they create a dysfunctional family law practice dedicated to assisting other families with their own issues.
