Cockroaches

Tom and Suze, both nineteen and filled with aspirations for what’s to come, find themselves in an unexpected predicament when they have sex just as nuclear war erupts. To their dismay, they manage to survive the catastrophe. Awkward, indeed. “Cockroaches” is a darkly comedic tale set in a post-apocalyptic world, following a family as they navigate life amidst a desolate landscape populated by cannibals, deviants, and an ex who is particularly hard to tolerate. The protagonists grapple with monotony, terror, and the moral dilemmas of using their bodily fluids in cooking.
