Miranda travels back to Mexico to delve into her family’s past and discovers that her mother didn’t leave her voluntarily; instead, she was taken away as a newborn. Upon locating her mother in a mental health facility, where she is dealing with the trauma of mistreatment and violence, Miranda resolves to infiltrate a criminal syndicate. Her goal is to uncover the reality of her past and ensure that those accountable face justice.
