The narrative alternates between different time periods, centering on the Alcatraz prison, which was reportedly closed in 1963 due to hazardous conditions for inmates and staff. The storyline suggests that both prisoners and guards vanished in 1963, only to suddenly reappear in present-day San Francisco, where a government agency is tasked with locating them. The series featured actors Sarah Jones, Jorge Garcia, Sam Neill, and Parminder Nagra. It was discontinued on May 9, 2012.
