Taylor Evans, a modern and accomplished woman, finds her life unraveling as she is suddenly and inexplicably gripped by a fear of water, which threatens to destroy her delicate existence. In a bid to save herself, Taylor turns to Dr. John Cane, a disgraced phobia expert and a dubious ally. Dr. Cane, a well-known psychiatrist, has recently gained attention in the medical field due to a successful yet contentious behavior analysis therapy he developed on an isolated island. Hesitantly, Dr. Cane agrees to help Taylor confront her irrational water phobia, but only if the treatment occurs on the secluded island to ensure her safety and wellbeing. On this island, nothing is as it appears.
