High school student Juri takes her own life by jumping to her death. Afterward, she roams around familiar places like her home, school, and neighborhood. She experiences a deep sense of isolation because no one can see her. She attempts to communicate with people she encounters, including her mother and classmates, but they do not respond. Juri then encounters a terrifying creature she had never seen before her suicide, which she names “Bug Man.” This creature preys on the vulnerable minds of humans, enticing them towards suicide. One day, as Juri is walking down the street, she meets a girl who can actually see her. Juri calls this girl Ringo-chan, and they enjoy playing together at the park. However, their joyful time is short-lived. Upon returning from the park, Juri notices Ringo-chan’s mother looking distressed, with the Bug Man ominously standing behind her.
