Samantha Rose

“Samantha Rose” is a coming-of-age film set in the picturesque Pacific Northwest. Featuring non-binary actor Sam Rose, the story follows a young woman grappling with family dependency and a sense of directionlessness. Upon returning to her hometown in northern Oregon, Sam reconnects with a childhood friend and his eclectic group of friends, who form a makeshift community working the autumn harvest in nearby vineyards. This fearless and liberated group of runaways guides Sam on a path of self-discovery and healing. The film includes scenes of motorcycle rides, homemade wine, midnight swims, bonfires, horseback riding, camping, and a blossoming romance, as Sam begins to understand her life as truly her own.
