In this dark fantasy adventure, young Dorothy Gale returns to the magical land of Oz, only to find it in a state of ruin and under the control of a malevolent force. With the help of new friends, including a talking chicken and a mechanical man, she embarks on a quest to restore peace to the land. Directed by Walter Murch, the film features Fairuza Balk in her debut role as Dorothy. While it did not receive any major awards, it has garnered a cult following over the years.
