Resurrected

In a near-future setting, the Catholic Church has discovered the means to bring people back to life. This resurrection process is shrouded in secrecy and governed by strict guidelines: only believers who are free of sin and under the age of 65 are eligible. The narrative unfolds through the computer of Stanley, an online priest who assists those who have been revived. Stanley is divorced, and his son resides with his ex-wife, limiting their interactions to online chats. His son was the first individual to be resurrected after dying in a car accident for which Stanley was responsible. As the story progresses, Stanley uncovers a vast conspiracy surrounding the resurrection practice.
