Restraining Order

Robert Woodfield, a seasoned criminal defense lawyer, has a history of representing numerous clients, many of whom are indeed guilty. He firmly believes in the principle that everyone is entitled to a robust defense, regardless of their guilt. His current client, Martin Ritter, a murderer, is acquitted thanks to Robert’s defense. Afterward, during a dinner with a friend, his friend hints at needing to discuss something crucial. As Robert is about to leave, masked assailants attack and kill his friend. Shockingly, one of the attackers reveals himself to be Martin Ritter. Bound by attorney-client privilege, Robert cannot disclose what he witnessed. However, this doesn’t deter him from delving into the mystery that troubled his late friend. His investigation uncovers a significant conspiracy, and instead of targeting him directly, the perpetrators frame his wife for murder to intimidate him. Undeterred, Robert continues his quest for the truth, putting both himself and his wife in grave danger. With the stakes higher than ever, he must unravel the mystery before it’s too late.
