Punk Love

Set against the backdrop of Oregon and Washington’s rainy landscapes, “Punk Love” tells the tale of two desolate lovers yearning for that elusive Hollywood-style happy ending to their dream narrative. Sarah, a 15-year-old adrift in a loveless household in a bleak, small town dominated by a paper mill, sees a chance for a new beginning when she encounters Spike. As they fall for each other, Sarah and Spike embark on a series of petty crimes to sustain themselves and their drug addiction. Spike harbors his own aspirations, and when he lands a spot in a band, he feels hopeful that he and Sarah are on the path to escaping their doomed lives. However, just as their fortunes seem to be improving, everything spirals out of control, leaving Spike and Sarah with only their unwavering love to help them survive against all odds.
