Polycarp

In 2nd Century Smyrna, a young slave named Anna is saved and taken in by a group of Christians, forming a bond with their elderly bishop, Polycarp. As Anna learns from Polycarp and her newfound family, she grapples with aligning her own beliefs with those of the Christians. The situation intensifies when the Roman proconsul orders all citizens to worship Caesar as a sign of loyalty to Rome. Polycarp and the Christian community must muster the bravery to uphold their faith in the face of escalating persecution. Anna is compelled to confront the reality of her situation and decide who she is willing to live and die for.
