Samantha’s band, the Zettabytes, is struggling to gain traction, prompting her friend Roscoe to leverage his father’s technological innovations to generate a holographic lead singer named Loretta Modern. The band quickly rises to fame, but this success leaves Samantha feeling isolated. Meanwhile, Roscoe starts to realize his romantic feelings for Samantha, and Loretta grapples with her own sense of identity.
