This animated film, based on Marjane Satrapi’s autobiographical graphic novel, follows the life of a young girl growing up during the Iranian Revolution. It explores themes of identity, freedom, and the impact of political upheaval on personal lives. The film is co-directed by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud and features the voice talents of Chiara Mastroianni and Catherine Deneuve.
