When you think of Pauly Shore, movies like Bio-Dome and Encino Man probably come to mind, but there’s more depth to his easygoing image. Growing up as the child of the owners of the iconic comedy venue, “The Comedy Store” on Sunset Strip, Pauly Shore shares his extraordinary upbringing with the audience. Imagine having Sam Kinison as your babysitter or Andrew Dice Clay dating your sister. The show features several of Shore’s friends, including Iliza Shlesinger, winner of “Last Comic Standing”; Steve Rannazzisi from “The League”; Carl LaBove, a legend of the ‘Comedy Store’ and Sam Kinison’s best friend; and, of course, Pauly’s best friend and father, Sammy Shore, who proudly takes credit for introducing Pauly to the world of comedy.
