Parthenon

In a low-cost brothel nestled at the base of an Athenian stronghold, a man shares the extraordinary tales of his life. His quest for affection and fame is narrated and experienced by various characters: a prostitute burdened by an irredeemable history, a gangster plagued by misfortune, and a faithless icon painter. In one narrative, the man discovers wealth; in another, he transforms into a wandering prophet; and in yet another, he reunites with his wife. Although his memories deceive him, he is certain that in one of these existences, he will meet his end.
